Terms and conditions
1. Purpose
These terms and conditions govern the website creation, maintenance and related services offered by Propulse Web to business and private clients.
2. Quote and order
Each service is subject to a free quote, valid for 30 days. The order becomes binding once the quote is signed and the deposit paid.
3. Prices and payment
- Prices are stated in euros, net (special VAT exemption scheme for small businesses, VAT not applicable).
- Payment methods: bank transfer or Payconiq by Bancontact.
- Website payment schedule: 40% on order, 30% on mock-up approval, 30% at launch.
- Maintenance: monthly or annual payment in advance (10% off annually), no commitment, cancellable with one month's notice.
- Business clients: in the event of late payment, late-payment interest is automatically due at the rate set by the Belgian Act of 2 August 2002 on combating late payment in commercial transactions, together with a fixed compensation of €40 for recovery costs.
- Private clients: in the event of non-payment, a first free reminder is sent with 14 days to pay. After that period, interest and compensation may be claimed within the limits set by the Belgian Code of Economic Law (Book XIX).
4. Timelines
Stated timelines start once the deposit and all required content (copy, images, logo, access) have been received. Any delay in providing content postpones delivery accordingly.
5. Revisions
Two rounds of changes to the mock-up are included. Additional requests or work outside the scope of the quote are charged at €55/hour.
6. Ownership
Once paid in full, the client becomes the full owner of their website, content and domain name. Propulse Web reserves the right to feature the project in its portfolio unless the client objects in writing.
7. Right of withdrawal
Under the Belgian Code of Economic Law (Book VI), private clients have 14 days to withdraw from a quote signed at a distance. If the client expressly asks for work to start before this period ends, work already carried out remains payable.
8. Liability
Propulse Web is bound by an obligation of means. The client is responsible for the content they provide and guarantees they hold the rights required to use it.
9. Disputes
These terms are governed by Belgian law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first. Private clients may contact the Consumer Mediation Service free of charge (www.consumentenombudsdienst.be). Failing agreement, the courts of the judicial district of Namur shall have jurisdiction, without prejudice to consumer protection rules.
